Application engineering
Reliable rejection begins with the product.
Food and beverage reject conveyors must remove failed packs reliably while fitting the site's hygiene and cleaning regime. Oxford Vision Systems can specify stainless-steel frames, food-compatible belt materials, cleanable surfaces and guarded reject collection for packaged products.
Applications include trays, tubs, pouches, cartons, bottles and jars rejected after vision inspection, checkweighing, metal detection, X-ray, date-code checking, seal inspection or label verification.

Practical hygiene without compromising reject performance
The required construction depends on whether the line handles sealed packs in a dry area, operates in a wet environment or forms part of a more intensive washdown process. We confirm material, ingress, belt, bearing and access requirements during the engineering review rather than applying a generic 'food grade' description.
Reject bins can be removable for cleaning and fitted with full-bin or bin-present sensors. The reject trajectory and guarding are arranged to prevent failed product returning to the good flow or falling onto the factory floor.
